Huawei Mate 80 series leak reveals 3D face recognition and larger display optionsA new leak suggests that Huawei's upcoming Mate 80 series will feature full 3D face recognition across the lineup, including a version with a large flat display.

According to reports, both the standard and Pro models will use a 6.75‑inch 1.5K display, while a larger variant will step up to a 6.89‑inch 1.5K panel. The upgraded screen materials are expected to deliver improved image quality. Camera hardware has also been enhanced, with a 50‑megapixel dual telephoto setup confirmed for the Pro model.

The Mate 80 series will reportedly include two main versions, codenamed Voyager (standard) and Sagittarius (Pro). The standard model is said to support 66 W wired charging, while the Pro version will offer faster 100 W wired charging. All models are expected to integrate 3D face recognition technology.

Industry chatter suggests Huawei may introduce a "Pro Max" variant to highlight the larger display and advanced camera system.
