Leapmotor reveals full interior of flagship D19 SUV with luxury seating and 720 km EV range
Leapmotor has officially released the interior images and full configuration details of its upcoming flagship SUV, the D19. The model adopts a clean, modern design language with straight dashboard lines, a floating center display, and a mix of leather, wood‑grain accents, and chrome trim to create a premium cabin atmosphere.
The D19 is equipped with a 10.25‑inch instrument cluster, a 17.3‑inch central display, a 6‑inch rear multifunction control screen, and a 21.4‑inch 3K entertainment screen. Additional features include a four‑spoke multifunction steering wheel, a 60‑inch high‑brightness all‑weather AR‑HUD, headrest audio for the driver, wireless phone charging, and an integrated fragrance system.
Other amenities include laminated sound‑insulating glass, dual folding tables for the second row, an onboard oxygen generator, and an 8.1‑liter electric vehicle‑grade refrigerator capable of holding nine 380 ml bottles. The fridge supports a wide temperature range from 21.2°F to 122°F (‑6°C to 50°C) and can be opened or closed remotely via voice or app.
The SUV offers 5‑, 6‑, and 7‑seat configurations. The second‑row zero‑gravity seats support a 120‑degree recline, four‑way leg rests, and integrated ABTS seat belts. In welcome mode, the cabin forms a 195 mm (7.7‑inch) wide central aisle for easier access to the third row. The third row includes dual armrests, one‑touch electric folding, seat heating, and a backrest with stepless adjustment up to 131 degrees. The extended‑range version includes an 80.3 kWh battery with a CLTC pure‑electric range of 500 km (311 miles). Using an 800 V platform, it charges from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes. It also carries a 40‑liter fuel tank and a dual‑motor four‑wheel‑drive range‑extender system producing up to 400 kW. Thanks to an integrated drive‑generation unit, the system is more than 60 kg (132 lb) lighter than traditional range‑extender setups and improves overall range by 5 percent.
The pure‑electric version uses a 1000 V high‑voltage platform and a tri‑motor setup with 540 kW of combined output, enabling 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3 seconds. Its 115 kWh CATL hybrid‑cell battery delivers 720 km (447 miles) of range and can add more than 350 km (217 miles) of driving in 15 minutes.
