MINISFORUM launches M1 Plus mini host with 12th-gen Intel and full-featured USB 4
On December 2, 2025, MINISFORUM introduced its new M1 Plus mini host, designed for enterprise IT management, soft routing, and intensive office scenarios. The compact system weighs about 0.6 kg (1.3 lbs) and can be mounted behind a monitor, on a wall, or under a desk.
The M1 Plus is available in two configurations: one powered by the Intel Core i7-12800H with 14 cores and 20 threads, reaching up to 4.8 GHz turbo frequency, and another with the Intel Core i5-12600H offering 12 cores and 16 threads. Both versions support DDR5 memory up to 96 GB and deliver up to 65W performance release.
Connectivity is a highlight. The system includes a 40 Gbps full-featured USB4 port that supports data transfer, PD charging, and Alt DP display output-all through a single cable. It also offers HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, and USB4 outputs, enabling simultaneous use of three independent 4K displays. Dual 2.5GbE network ports support link aggregation, NAS access, soft routing deployment, and multi-channel live streaming. Built-in Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 further enhance networking options.
Cooling is handled by an active DDR/SSD system, with official claims that daily noise levels remain below 45 dB. This makes the M1 Plus suitable for quiet office environments while maintaining stable performance.
Pricing starts at ¥1,789 (about $250 USD) for the i5 barebones version without memory or storage. Other configurations include ¥2,889 ($405 USD) for 16GB + 512GB, ¥3,199 ($450 USD) for 16GB + 1TB, and ¥3,699 ($520 USD) for 32GB + 1TB. The i7 barebones version begins at ¥2,199 ($310 USD), with higher-end options at ¥3,699 ($520 USD) for 16GB + 1TB and ¥4,199 ($590 USD) for 32GB + 1TB.
