UBTECH lands 126 million yuan contract to supply Walker S2 humanoid robots
UBTECH Robotics, billed as the "first listed humanoid robot company," won a 126 million yuan (approximately $1.3 billion) contract to supply and install equipment for the Guangxi Embodied Intelligent Data Acquisition and Testing Center. The order includes UBTECH's Walker S2, a fully autonomous humanoid that can replace its own batteries, and is scheduled for delivery in 2025 after contract signing.This follows UBTECH's recent string of large sales: a global single-order of 250 million yuan in September and several subsequent orders worth tens of millions of yuan. The Walker series has accumulated over 630 million yuan in orders so far this year. UBTECH unveiled the Walker S2 on July 17 and plans to deliver 500 industrial humanoid robots to the smart manufacturing sector this year.
