China's 6nm 7G106 GPU matches RTX 4060, runs Windows on Arm
Lisuan Technology has officially launched its domestically developed 7G106 GPU, built on a 6nm process with a fully self‑developed instruction set and no foreign IP. The card has entered mass production and is the first discrete GPU capable of running Windows on Arm.
The 7G106 features 12GB of video memory and achieves a 3DMark Steel Nomad score of approximately 2268 points, placing it in the same performance class as NVIDIA's RTX 4060. It can run demanding titles like Black Myth: Wukong at high resolution.
User‑shared videos show the card's physical design: a triple‑slot, triple‑fan cooler. In Windows on Arm, the system identifies it as part of the LISUAN 7G100 Series with DX12 support. This marks the first time a discrete GPU has supported this platform-previously, only integrated graphics like Qualcomm's Snapdragon X series were compatible.
The test platform includes a domestic P1 processor (CP8180), also built on a 6nm process. It features 12 CPU cores (8 performance + 4 efficiency), a peak frequency of 3.2GHz, and an integrated 10‑core Immortalis‑G720 GPU with hardware ray tracing and 45 TOPS of AI compute. The motherboard is the Radxa Orion O6, promoted as the world's first open‑source Armv9 board.
Lisuan Technology, founded in China, focuses on developing high‑performance GPUs with independent intellectual property. The company aims to reduce reliance on foreign IP by building its own instruction sets and software stacks. Its 7G100 series represents a major milestone in China's domestic chip development, targeting gaming, productivity, and AI workloads. Lisuan is positioning itself as a competitor to global GPU makers like NVIDIA and AMD, with a focus on Arm‑based platforms and open‑source hardware integration.
