Changxin Storage begins mass production of memory at 10,667 MbpsChangxin Storage has officially announced mass production of its LPDDR5X product line, achieving speeds up to 10,667 Mbps. This represents a 25 percent improvement compared to the 8,533 Mbps standard used in current flagship smartphones, placing the company among the global leaders in mobile memory performance.

The LPDDR5X lineup includes particles, chips, and modules. Particle versions come in 12 Gb and 16 Gb capacities, while chip solutions are available in 12 GB, 16 GB, and 24 GB. Module products in LPCAMM form offer 16 GB and 32 GB options. Speeds cover 8,533 Mbps, 9,600 Mbps, and 10,667 Mbps, all backward compatible with LPDDR5 standards, giving users flexible upgrade paths.

In automotive applications, the new memory supports intelligent cockpits and autonomous driving. With 24 GB chip solutions, it provides bandwidth for multi-screen 4K interaction, in‑vehicle AI assistants, and driver monitoring systems. For autonomous driving domain controllers, the high speed and low latency enable faster lidar and camera data processing while reducing power consumption by 20 percent compared to the previous generation.

Edge AI devices such as smart cameras, drones, AR/VR glasses, and IoT gateways also benefit. These devices often rely on limited battery power and cannot depend on cloud processing. The LPDDR5X improves energy efficiency by lowering voltage while increasing speed, extending battery life and simplifying thermal design. Changxin is also developing an ultra-thin 0.58 mm LPDDR5X product, expected to be the thinnest in the industry, suitable for slim devices.

In robotics, the company highlights embodied intelligence as the next wave of AI. Mobile robots require high-bandwidth, low-power memory for real-time decision-making. The LPDDR5X provides decisive hardware support for complex AI tasks, helping define performance benchmarks for the industry.
