Emdoor launches EM‑X14D rugged industrial notebook with full localization and advanced securityEmdoor Information has introduced the EM‑X14D, a domestically developed industrial‑grade rugged notebook designed for harsh working environments. Built in partnership with Feiteng, the device combines high performance, strong durability, and full‑stack localization to meet the demands of industries such as surveying, energy inspection, field exploration, and manufacturing.

The EM‑X14D is powered by the Feiteng D3000M processor, featuring 8 FTC862 cores based on the ARMv8 architecture. It integrates the FTG‑340 GPU and FTG‑300 NPU, delivering both strong graphics and AI computing capabilities. Benchmark results show single‑core CPU scores of 1924.1 and multi‑core scores of 5563.5, with 3D graphics performance exceeding 3600 points. Standard configuration includes 16GB LPDDR5 memory and a 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD, expandable to 32GB RAM and larger SSDs.

Security is a major focus. The processor incorporates Feiteng's PSPA2.0 security architecture and hardware‑isolated TCM/TPCM modules, supporting SM2/SM3/SM4 national encryption standards. The notebook runs Galaxy Kirin OS V10 SPI 2503, with added protections such as fingerprint login, a physical camera shutter, and RF shutdown keys to disable connectivity at the hardware level.

The 14‑inch full‑lamination LCD delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution and 1000‑nit brightness, ensuring visibility even in direct sunlight. Anti‑fog technology and glove‑friendly 10‑point touch support make it suitable for outdoor rescue and exploration. Boot‑to‑desktop time is under 10 seconds.

Battery life is enhanced by a dual‑cell design (4700mAh + 1300mAh) with hot‑swappable capability, allowing replacement without shutting down. Combined with optimized DVFS power management, the notebook achieves over 3 hours of continuous operation, with real‑time monitoring and adaptive charging strategies to extend battery lifespan.

Connectivity options include Wi‑Fi 6, optional 4G/5G modules, Beidou positioning, and a wide range of ports: USB‑C, USB‑A, RJ45, RS232, HDMI, plus docking expansion with dual M.2 E‑KEY slots. Rugged construction meets IP65 dust‑ and water‑resistance standards and MIL‑STD‑810H certification, with drop resistance up to 1.22 meters.
