China's top business forum adopts domestic laptop powered by Feiteng D3000M processor
On December 2, 2025, the Enterprise Leaders Forum in Hainan will officially use domestically produced laptops for the first time. The designated device is the Lenovo Kaitian X1 Carbon, equipped with the Feiteng D3000M processor-a major milestone for China's homegrown computing ecosystem.
This marks the first time a high-end business platform has selected a Chinese-made laptop as its official device. Feiteng described the move as a breakthrough that not only showcases domestic computing power on a premium stage but also validates its performance in demanding enterprise environments.
The Kaitian X1 Carbon weighs just 980 grams (2.16 lbs) and measures 13.9 mm (0.55 in) thick. Thanks to deep integration between the Feiteng processor and Galaxy Kirin operating system, it achieves industry-leading boot and wake speeds: 9 seconds to boot and 2 seconds to resume.
At its core is the Feiteng D3000M processor-Feiteng's first notebook CPU. It features eight FTC862 cores developed in-house, with a peak frequency of 2.9 GHz and GeekBench 6 single-core scores exceeding 1200.
The chip integrates GPU, NPU, and VPU modules, paired with high-speed LPDDR5x memory. This combination breaks the stereotype that domestic platforms lack performance.
Security is also a highlight. The D3000M includes Feiteng's EPSPA architecture, enabling chip-level protection against threats and eliminating backdoor risks. The X1 Carbon further enhances security with hardware isolation for fingerprint recognition and physical camera shutters.
The Feiteng D3000M processor is developed by Feiteng, a Chinese semiconductor company focused on high-performance computing. The Kaitian X1 Carbon laptop is manufactured by Lenovo.
