Vivo OriginOS 6 adds DingTalk call integration to Atomic Island
On December 2, 2025, Vivo announced that its new OriginOS 6 system will support DingTalk incoming calls through the Atomic Island feature. Users running DingTalk version 8.1.5 or above can now see call information, answer, or hang up directly from the Atomic Island interface.
This update builds on last year's OriginOS 5 upgrade, which transformed atomic notifications into Atomic Island. The feature provides real-time reminders for key information and integrates service recommendations. Jia Jingdong, Vivo's vice president of brand and product strategy, explained that Atomic Island merges information flow and service suggestions into one unified experience, intelligently organizing and converting incoming data.
Applications supported by Atomic Island include navigation (Amap, Baidu Map), ride-hailing (Didi, Alipay AutoNavi Taxi), flight and train schedules, food delivery (Ele.me, Alipay mini programs), medical registration, SMS verification codes, weather alerts, recording, health reminders, exercise tracking, file transfers, app downloads, Bluetooth transmission, printing services, focus mode, system recovery, phone calls, timers, and walkie-talkie functions.
Service recommendations extend to address suggestions, stock information, password services (Douyin, Alipay), URL opening, phone number dialing and saving, SMS sending, calendar event creation, and sharing across platforms like WeChat, QQ, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Taobao, JD.com, Tmall, and email. Atomic Island also supports smart picture recognition and memory collection features.
