Honor prepares to launch Magic8 Mini with Dimensity 9500Honor is accelerating the release of its first small‑screen flagship, the Magic8 Mini. The device will feature a 6.31‑inch straight display with flat edges, a metal middle frame, and 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition. It will be available in four colors: feather white, shadow black, light orange, and fairy purple.

The Magic8 Mini is powered by MediaTek's new Dimensity 9500 processor, marking the first time Honor has adopted a MediaTek chip in its high‑end lineup. The CPU architecture includes one C1‑Ultra core clocked at 4.21GHz, three C1‑Premium cores, and four C1‑Pro cores, along with SME2 matrix instruction support. Compared to the previous generation, single‑core performance is up 32%, multi‑core performance is up 17%, while peak power consumption is reduced by 55% for ultra‑large cores and 37% for multi‑core workloads.

Market feedback suggests the Dimensity 9500 delivers stable performance and excellent energy efficiency, making it well‑suited for compact flagship devices. Honor is also equipping the Magic8 Mini with a large 7020mAh battery, placing it among the top tier of small‑screen flagships in terms of endurance.
