Huawei unveils cerebellum chip in Zunjie S800 for ultra‑fast stabilityHuawei executive Yu Chengdong has introduced a new "cerebellum" chip inside the Zunjie S800 luxury electric vehicle, describing it as the industry's first six‑in‑one global integration architecture.

The chip coordinates six critical systems-motor, brakes, steering, suspension, and thermal management-within just 0.01 seconds. This rapid response allows the car to remain stable even on icy or slippery roads, reducing the risk of losing control.

Yu explained that traditional chassis systems operate independently, which slows down reaction time when a vehicle skids. By contrast, the cerebellum chip acts like the human brain's cerebellum, unifying control and balance across multiple systems simultaneously.

The chip is already deployed in the Zunjie S800, Xiangjie S9T, and the new S9, with plans to expand across more HarmonyOS Zhixing models. Combined with Huawei's ADS fusion perception, the system can detect potholes in advance and adjust suspension within 0.01 seconds, reducing bumps and improving comfort.

Yu emphasized that this innovation represents over 30 years of Huawei's technological development, delivering a new generation of driving experience through the cooperation of "eyes, brain, and cerebellum."
