CATL Reports Strong Q3 Earnings with 41% Profit Growth

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL) posted a net profit of ¥18.549 billion ($2.54 billion) for Q3 2025, marking a 41.21% year-over-year increase. Revenue for the quarter reached ¥104.19 billion ($14.27 billion), up 12.9% from the same period last year.

For the first nine months of 2025, CATL reported ¥49.034 billion ($6.72 billion) in net profit, a 36.2% increase year-over-year, with total revenue of ¥283.07 billion ($38.8 billion), up 9.28%.

In comparison, CATL's full-year 2024 revenue was ¥362.013 billion ($49.6 billion), down 9.7% from 2023, while net profit rose 15.01% to ¥50.745 billion ($6.95 billion).

These results reflect CATL's continued leadership in the global battery market, driven by strong demand and operational efficiency.
