Mini LED momentum: China's market to power 60% of global shipments in 2025
Runto Technology reports that China's Mini LED TV sales are set to surpass 8 million units in 2025, nearly double the 2024 total. In the third quarter of this year Chinese Mini LED TV shipments reached 1.59 million units, representing 21.8 percent of the domestic TV market. Cumulative sales for the first three quarters climbed to 5.38 million units, already exceeding last year's full-year total of 4.16 million units and making up roughly 27.5 percent of the market.Despite a broader slowdown in TV demand, Mini LED adoption continues to expand, although year-over-year growth in the third quarter eased to about 70 percent. Runto revised its full-year forecast downward from an initial 10 million units to 8.02 million units, a reduction from earlier expectations that still represents a sizable increase of 93 percent compared with 2024. Global Mini LED TV shipments are projected to reach 13 million units in 2025, with China supplying more than 60 percent of that volume.
