SAIC Audi unveils E7X SUV with refined design and advanced driver assistanceSAIC Audi has officially released the first production images of its second model, the E7X SUV. The vehicle has already been filed with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and is scheduled to debut at the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show, with sales beginning in the first half of that year.

The production version closely follows the concept car, continuing Audi's family design language. Compared with the previously launched E5 Sportback, the E7X adopts a more simplified and harmonious SUV form. The front features a distinctive ring-shaped light cluster paired with a closed grille, while vertically arranged digital matrix LED headlights provide high-resolution projection and interactive scene communication. The rear echoes the front with matching ring-shaped lights.

Dimensions measure 5049 mm x 1997 mm x 1710 mm (198.7 x 78.6 x 67.3 inches), with a wheelbase of 3060 mm (120.5 inches). Positioned as a mid-to-large pure electric SUV, the E7X also integrates lidar on the roof to support advanced assisted driving functions, with solutions expected to come from Momenta.

The SUV will be offered in two versions: a two-wheel drive model with 300 kW of power and 500 N·m of torque, and a quattro all-wheel drive version with dual motors rated at 200 kW (front) and 300 kW (rear), delivering a combined 800 N·m of torque.

Pricing is expected to start between ¥240,000 and ¥250,000 (about $33,000 to $34,500), with top configurations exceeding ¥300,000 (about $41,500). For comparison, the E5 Sportback starts at ¥235,900 (about $32,600).
