Honor robot phone will enter mass production in 2026Honor has announced that its futuristic ROBOT PHONE will move into mass production during the first half of 2026, with an official launch expected later that year.

The device features a distinctive main camera on the left side of the back, built with a two‑stage folding mechanical gimbal. This hidden robotic arm can be deployed with a single click, enabling automatic composition, subject tracking, and advanced image stabilization.

Beyond its unique camera system, the phone integrates an AI "super brain" called YOYO. This large‑scale model is designed to provide emotional perception, proactive care, personalized content recommendations, and full‑scene equipment scheduling. Honor describes YOYO as both a personal butler and a creative partner, capable of sharing life moments and capturing precious experiences with precision.

The ROBOT PHONE was initially thought to be only a concept device, but Honor has confirmed its commitment to bringing it to market. Early demonstrations showed the robotic gimbal in action, highlighting how the phone can "move" and operate almost like a companion device rather than a traditional smartphone.
