China Unicom launches Yunzhi AI Pad with Android and Windows dual‑system supportChina Unicom has officially introduced the Yunzhi AI Pad, a tablet designed around seamless 5G eSIM activation and cloud‑enhanced productivity. The device is priced at 1,799 yuan (approximately 250 USD), according to retail listings.

The tablet features a 12.2‑inch LCD display (2160 x 1440), offering three viewing modes: true color, color‑ink, and pure ink. It includes an 8‑megapixel front camera and a 13‑megapixel rear camera, along with a USB‑C 3.0 port for modern connectivity.

Powering the device is the UNISOC T9100 processor, previously known as the T820. Built on TSMC's 6 nm process, the chip uses an eight‑core 1+3+4 architecture: one 2.7 GHz Cortex‑A76 core, three 2.3 GHz Cortex‑A76 cores, and four 2.1 GHz Cortex‑A55 cores. It integrates a Mali‑G57 MC4 GPU running at 850 MHz, a full‑mode 5G baseband, and an NPU delivering up to 8 TOPS of AI performance.

The Yunzhi AI Pad comes with 6 GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Its 8000 mAh battery supports up to 10 hours of continuous video playback and 18 W wired charging, making it suitable for all‑day use.

One of the tablet's standout features is its cloud‑assisted AI workflow. Pressing the dedicated AI key on the keyboard activates China Unicom's Yuanjing large model, enabling tasks such as drafting text or generating meeting summaries. With the F9 key, users can instantly switch to a cloud‑hosted Windows desktop, while the local system continues running Android-effectively offering two operating environments on one device.
