Xiaomi Auto surpasses 500,000 deliveries in 2025, beating annual target ahead of schedule
Xiaomi Auto announced on December 2, 2025, that it has delivered more than 500,000 vehicles since April 3, 2024. This milestone was reached just 602 days after the launch of its first model, the SU7, making Xiaomi the fastest new energy vehicle company worldwide to achieve half a million deliveries.
In November alone, Xiaomi delivered over 40,000 cars, maintaining that level for three consecutive months. The company had set a 2025 annual target of 350,000 units, which it has already exceeded by a wide margin. On November 20, Xiaomi celebrated the roll-off of its 500,000th vehicle from the production line, underscoring its rapid growth and consumer acceptance.
Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, stated that reaching 500,000 deliveries validates the company's full-system capabilities, including research and development, manufacturing, sales, delivery, and service. He emphasized that Xiaomi Auto has now entered a new stage of scaled operations. Looking ahead, Lei Jun revealed that Xiaomi expects to deliver more than 400,000 vehicles in 2025.
To accelerate year-end sales, Xiaomi has launched a "current car purchase" program. Customers who lock in orders before December 26, 2025, can receive their vehicles by year's end. The program includes new cars, official exhibition vehicles, and quasi-new cars, all of which have passed strict quality inspections. Some models have been officially repaired but remain unregistered, offering buyers more options.
Industry analysts believe this move is aimed at boosting December deliveries, making it easier for Xiaomi to surpass 400,000 units for the year. The company's performance highlights its growing competitiveness in the global EV market.
