World's first alcohol-hydrogen smart tractor debuts in ChinaBeijing Zhongke Yuan Power Technology has unveiled the world's first alcohol-hydrogen-powered intelligent tractor at the 2025 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition in Wuhan. The 340-horsepower machine runs on green methanol and features a direct-drive powertrain, offering a 46% reduction in energy costs compared to diesel models.

Designed for high-altitude farming, the tractor boasts a thermal efficiency above 45%, a continuously variable transmission, and a cast body with triple the rigidity of conventional designs. It meets OECD safety standards and includes a luxury cabin with smart controls and optional full autonomy.

The launch also introduced the new brand "CHIVOTOR," part of a broader strategy to promote sustainable farming. The company showcased a closed-loop system integrating green electricity, alcohol fuel, and smart machinery to enable carbon-negative operations.
