Lingque 150 UAV completes first flight with 200‑kg payload capability
China Ordnance Industry Group has announced that the Lingque 150 (LQ‑150), a large‑payload, long‑endurance composite‑wing UAV developed by Aiseng Group, has successfully completed its maiden flight. The aircraft supports a maximum payload class of 200 kilograms (441 pounds), marking a major milestone for the company's next‑generation unmanned aviation platform.
The first‑flight test verified the reliability of the full Lingque 150 system along with several key self‑developed components. These include a low‑cost multi‑purpose flight‑control system, a general‑purpose mission‑load servo mechanism, an intelligent human‑machine management system, and a compact ground station.
As the newest member of the Lingque family, the LQ‑150 is designed for high performance, low operating cost, strong environmental adaptability, and broad mission scalability. The aircraft follows a "one platform, multiple missions" design philosophy, allowing rapid swapping of different payload modules.
Supported payloads include public‑network base‑station modules, communication‑relay equipment, electro‑optical pods, and SAR radar. This flexibility enables the UAV to operate across a wide range of scenarios such as surveying and mapping, geological exploration, emergency response, and rescue operations.
China Ordnance Industry Group (Norinco Group) is one of China's largest state‑owned defense and industrial technology enterprises. The company develops equipment across land systems, aerospace, electronics, and intelligent unmanned platforms. Its Aiseng subsidiary focuses on UAV research, manufacturing, and mission‑system integration, supplying both civilian and defense markets with long‑endurance and high‑payload unmanned aircraft solutions.
