World's highest refresh rate display reaches 1000Hz
TPV Technology, together with TCL Huaxing, has unveiled the world's first dual‑mode 1000Hz ultra‑high refresh rate monitor. The debut model under the AGON brand is the AGP277QK, a 27‑inch display that can switch between QHD 500Hz and HD 1000Hz modes. This allows users to choose between high‑resolution content creation and ultra‑high‑frame‑rate gaming.
The monitor uses TCL Huaxing's HFS Shoot technology to achieve a 0.3ms MPRT response time, minimizing motion blur and input lag. It also delivers a native contrast ratio of 2000:1, 10‑bit color depth with ΔE<1 accuracy, and covers 95% of the DCI‑P3 color gamut. These specifications make it suitable for both professional creators and competitive gamers.
The AGP277QK is the first monitor to achieve native 1000 frames per second output. In QHD (2560x1440) mode, it supports 500Hz refresh rates for detailed visuals in AAA titles and creative work. In HD (1920x1080) mode, it reaches 1000Hz, ideal for fast‑paced FPS gaming where every millisecond counts.
Pricing and release dates have not yet been announced. When available, the monitor will be marketed under both TPV's AGON brand and Philips' EVNIA line.
